Rib Saimaa offers exceptionally safe, stable, and high-performance experiences aboard a Capelli RIB boat. When needed, the boat can also deliver speed and agility. Typically, journeys are conducted at a relaxed pace to admire the breathtaking Saimaa landscapes, historical sites, and natural harbors. For crossing larger stretches of Saimaa, the pace can be increased based on passenger preferences—winds don’t bother us!

Your captain, Heikki Väisänen, is an experienced skipper and the entrepreneur behind Rib Saimaa. The boat meets all required inspection standards, and your safety is the top priority from the start to the end of every trip.

Passenger Equipment

Even in warm summer weather, it can feel chilly aboard a boat. Rib Saimaa provides passengers with windproof and waterproof jackets for the trip and optional goggles. Jackets are available in various sizes to ensure a good fit for everyone. Lightweight inflatable life jackets, which automatically activate if submerged in water, are provided. You can also bring your own hat and gloves if needed.
